Modeling

Modeling is the process of creating an image of reality or upcoming reality. The model is created in order before it starts to make implementation of the subject, try to see if he could work or looking for optimal solutions. The aim is to cut costs and more effective work even later changes.

Modeling is used as a basis for simulation. There is prepared the required states or expected conditions. Preventively to reveal possible errors, risks, malfunction, etc.

Models can be:

  • text
  • Graphic - Visual
  • mathematical
  • combined
  • etc

The managerial practice are often used for example models for:

  • strategy
  • process
  • system
  • project
  • relations in the organization
  • ....

It is on modeling person worker what tools for modeling he choices. What exactly needs to model and for what purpose. It has already been modeled states, relationships - links, solutions, etc.

To fix a problem well implies full concentration. Engaging all of your capabilities. Visualizing the knowledge we applied years back. Combining everything and finding truly the best solution. Sadly, many of today´s problems are complex ones and any second best solution amounts to losses. Each solution deserves deep concentration. Nowadays, managers are advised to watch how their workers approach problem solving. Unless they have seen full concentration in their faces, they cannot be sure the workers have done their best.
