The road to a profit begins with an entrepreneurial intent, which is subsequently transformed into a working company. Such a transformation already needs to define processes that are essential for manufacture of products or provision of services. At that moment, the owners and the managers struggle in many different ways to set the individual processes and activities efficiently so that they can achieve the lowest possible costs and the highest possible profits.

Setting all activities, processes, departments, information and material flows, costs and employee competencies right is extremely hard. One way of achieving an effective result is modelling and modelling of processes in particular. Nowadays, the process approach is completely commonplace, for it is required by international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS 9100, TS 16 949 and others.

The process map is the first step to take in learning/setting the company´s proper functions. It provides the management with an overall picture of the company´s processes and activities, of the top responsibilities and the fundamental realization flows among the processes. Also, it helps employees comprehend the way in which the company they work for operates. It, therefore, has an irreplaceable role in schooling new workers.

Preparatory procedure of process map

Preparation of your process map will proceed in the following steps:

1. Introduction of the company and its goals
2. Studying information about the company (strategy, entrepreneurial intent, processes, organizational scheme)
3. Defining the profile of the company´s customer
4. Determining the main processes
5. Setting the product realization flow
6. Appointing the process owners
7. Check of cohesion and functionality

The preparation will take place in discussion with your managers. Our consultant will not just model the process map, but, at the same time, they will also moderate a debate. The whole procedure has been designed for the managers to agree on a single solution that will be beneficial for the company.

The process map will be handed over to you in the electronic version featuring an object-oriented format (MS Visio) as well as in jpg, pdf. The process chart will respect your company´s graphic design to be well presentable to you employees or customers.
