TRAINING OF INTERNAL AUDITORS
Offers » Training of internal auditors
Motto: An auditor is a partner with inspired ideas
Audits form an inseparable part of every quality system. They are supposed to be utilized in order to enhance the quality level in products, processes and the company in general. Every manager who wants to know the true status of their processes even requires them. It often happens, however, that the company´s workers are chosen to act as auditors, yet their main task here is to supervise whether the relevant procedures, technological regulations, etc. are followed. In doing so, they more or less inspect work done by their colleagues. Neither party being much amused here, one would suppose. “In addition to my boss I will be supervised also by my colleague from the nextdoor department.“
Who is going to have a look at my work with the intention to warn me against problems I might run into and, possibly, even outline a solution? Who is going to be my partner rather than anything else? Only few make a stop here to contemplate this.
Our internal auditor training programme does just this. It is not another regular training where after the worker gets back to the workplace none of the nice ideas taught to them will become reality. The worker is trained to do exactly what they need, and, in addition to that, the tutor does the audits with them. The tutor has had a practice of over ten years doing audits, having audited hundreds of companies. The tutor has created tens of quality systems, projects to support improvement.
The auditor training aims to broaden knowledge and skills in spheres fit for audit, such as system modelling, management, communication, higher knowledge of quality processes and standards. The programme is continuously being optimized to match changes made in the company, needs of auditors and the company´s management. If need be, our tutors will participate in solving the problems detected.
System of instruction
- Auditors will receive instruction prior to every planned audit
- 4 lessons, 3 weeks before the audit, are devoted to studying the theory and practical specimen demonstrations pursuant to the programme attached below
- 4 lessons, 2 weeks before the audit, are devoted to analysing and modelling the processes that are to be audited
- One tutor then participates in the audit in order to supervise whether it is performed properly
- Right after the audit an assessment is carried out including the audit report
- After each training block which includes an internal or external audit (on the premises of a supplier) the results are submitted to the management for assessment
Programme of instruction
The internal auditor instruction programme is orientated towards understanding the company´s processes, looking for the potential pitfalls of leadership and creating partnership bonds with workmates to eliminate the harmful effect of checking their work. The stress is ceaslessly being laid on looking for opportunities to be taken and bottlenecks to be eliminated. It is a custom-made programme, with the principal criteria being our auditors´ extensive experience, their education and training.
