The dynamics of the working environment keeps growing, burdening workers with ever greater amount of assignments. These have to be completed regardless of the fact that our capacity is still the same or smaller. There is a need to continuously enhance own work performance and concentrate on important assignments.

Most reasons why we do not meet our deadlines rest with ourselves. The right time management is not just the matter of setting the system up correctly, but it is also the matter of understanding of what holds us back, where we create inefficiencies and so on. Subsequently, then, it is up to ourselves to find the optimal style of work that will drive us to a higher performance. Once we have found it, we have also found the style which will correspond with our corporate culture and be gladly accepted by the other workers.

During training sessions, the lecturer utilizes a model of personnel and capacity auditing that they have created to analyze working positions. This model will serve to set up the right time management of participants and to expose the weak spots of their planning, overload or, by contrast, an insufficient workload.

The training will include the following subjects:

  • we live one life, even though we do so both in the professional and the personal world
  • there is just a single capacity
  • capacity versus description of the working position
  • man as a source of energy
  • personal objectives
  • personal motivation for a better performance
  • prioritizing
  • own inhibitions
  • work performance
  • personal plans
  • examples of the planning of capacities, assignments and projects
  • short-term and long-term planning
  • annual plan of regular activities
  • the effects changes have on the planning
  • delegation

The training will include practical examples and the participants will create their own system of time planning and which activities are to be delegated and when and which activities to be completed later on, etc.

The Training Result

Participants to prepare their own system for better management of their work. They will partly reveal the causes of their inefficiencies and get the respective solutions, or the lecturer will find the right solution for them. They will try out a model of prioritizing or, possibly, set their own criteria that effect their work most and need to be taken into account while carrying out the prioritizing.

Participants will prepare an annual plan of regular activities they have to do in their working position. This plan is going to be confronted with the description of their working position.

„Nobody is going to collect results for the manager.“ more >>

Jiří Střelec Jiří Střelec

The manager is supposed, along with his or her team, to deliver results for the company. That is what they are paid for. The results need to be proven. Not always they are obvious from the reporting, especially if the measurement systems are soft. The manager needs to keep their eyes open, taking into account every change, result, conclusion and communicating them to the others.
