A presentation is a targeted communication of information to a target group called listeners. It is necessary to use all the communication skills and the right target audience needs. The purpose of the presentation is for the listeners to take away = remember the main message of the presentation or key information that the presenter has prepared.

Very often the presentation uses SW tools for presentation such as PowerPoint or KeyNote. Presenters often stand in front of listeners or even on stage. This requires communicating not only verbal communication - to communicate what I need to communicate, but also great to handle non-verbal communication. It should not happen that the presenter says something and something else reveals his facial expressions, gestures or even there is a marked visible uncertainty. Presentation is a more demanding level of active communication.

A more demanding form of presentation is an interactive presentation.
