SIPOC is a simple method for describing processes. Capital letters are the names of words that are used in the order given in the description and setting processes. S-supplier, I-input, P-process, O-output, C-customer.
Method SIPOC began to be used in II. half of the 20th century within filizofii TQM – Total Quality Management. Today it is used for modeling processes, their restructuring and is also part of Six Sigma methods, lean manufacturing.
